Research of the Daily Mail and The Guardian

The Daily Mail

The Daily Mail is a British daily middle-market newspaper published in London in a tabloid format. Founded in 1896, it is the United Kingdom's highest-circulated daily newspaper.

Politically it aligns to the right. The editor of the Daily Mail is Geordie Greig and his team of editors which he runs.

The average age of readers is 58.

The Daily Mails content appears on Mail Online, however the website is managed separately and has its own editor.

The Guardian

The Guardian is a British newspaper. It is published every day, except on Sunday. It is owned by the same company as The Observer, which only publishes on Sunday. The Guardian is edited by Katharine Viner.

It was founded in 1821,

It can be viewed as contrasting to The Daily mail as it politically aligns to the left.

The newspaper has an online edition, TheGuardian.com, as well as two international websites, Guardian Australia (founded in 2013) and Guardian US (founded in 2011).
